Policies

Personal Training Services 

As your personal trainer, Sam will provide you with:

  1. Exercise coaching during in-person sessions

  2. Personalised program, in-person and/or via app

  3. Accountability, via in-person sessions and/or check in messages

Your payment covers all three services.

Rescheduling and Pausing​

Private Sessions (Weekly or 4wk Program)

  1. Personal training can be paused until 6pm Thursday the week before otherwise full fees apply for that week. 

  2. Sessions can be rescheduled until 6pm the day before the session otherwise the session is forfeit. Rescheduled sessions must be used within two weeks of the original session. 

  3. If you are late by 15 minutes without notification, the session is forfeit. Send me a message if you're on your way. 

  4. Notice for all of the above must be given in writing (i.e. send me a message or email).

​Team Training

  1. Team Training can be paused until 6pm Thursday the week before otherwise full fees apply for that week. 

  2. Your training time can be rescheduled to another team training time until 6pm the day before, subject to availability. Rescheduled times must be within one week of the original time. 

  3. Team Training is based on participation, not training time attendance. Full fees apply for any week you participate in the program. If you miss your team training time, the workout will still be available to you - do your best to fit it in! 

  4. Notice for all of the above must be given in writing (i.e. send me a message or email).

Billing and Termination

  1. Payment for any week's activities must be made by Friday before that week. 

  2. All personal training types can be terminated with two weeks’ notice. Notice must be given in writing (i.e. send me a message or email).

By training with me, you also agree to the following: 

1. I accept all risks and hereby indemnify and release the trainer against all liability (including liability of their negligence and the negligence of others) claims, demands and the proceeding arising out of or connected with my participation in these activities.

2. I acknowledge that participating in this activity may involve a risk of serious injury or even death from various causes including over exertion or accidents with equipment and surroundings. I assume the risk and responsibility for any injury, death or property damage resulting from my participation in this activity.

3. I recognise the difficulties associated with this activity and attest that I am physically fit to participate safely in the activity and that a qualified medical practitioner has not advised me otherwise. I am not aware of any medical condition, injury or impairment that will be detrimental to my health if I participate in this activity. If I become aware of any medical condition, injury or impairment that may affect my participation in this activity I will inform my trainer.

4. Despite providing tailored exercise to the client’s fitness level and experience to meet the client’s goals, there is no guarantee of results. Other factors such as diet, stress, and sleep may affect results as well.

​

5. Personal trainers are not able to provide participants with medical advice in regard to medical fitness and information provided is used as a guideline to the limitations of participants ability to exercise only.
